N. Korea retracts report on Bill Clinton departing Pyongyang
SEOUL, Aug. 5 (Yonhap) -- North Korea's state media retracted its report Wednesday that former U.S. President Bill Clinton had left Pyongyang after holding talks with its leader, Kim Jong-il.
The Korean Central News Agency did not say why it was withdrawing the report that
had been sent out shortly before 6:00 a.m.
"Please cancel" the news item that said "Bill Clinton leaves here," the brief
English-language report said.
