Yemen, France talk on vocational education cooperation

SANA'A, Aug. 09 (Saba) -
Yemen and France talked here on Sunday over the technical cooperation areas between
the two
friendly countries especially in field of technical education and vocational
training and means of boosting them.

In the meeting of Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Ibrahim
Hajri with the technical cooperation attaché in the French embassy in Yemen, the
French
official reviewed a proposal of new mechanism for the Yemeni-French technical
cooperation in the agricultural education field for 2010.
This comes as a continuation for the previous French project which aims at training
12 trainees in six agricultural and veterinary institutes as well as upgrading the
curriculums
in this field.
Hajri valued the French support to the technical, vocational, agricultural
education fields in Yemen especially at the level of preparing the vocational and
agricultural
education strategy to be executed by the French side in cooperation with the
ministry according to the modern technology.
