Somali refugees' conditions discussed in Lahj

LAHJ, Aug.10 (Saba) - Lahj Governor
Muhasen al-Naqib discussed here on Monday with United National High Commissioner for
Refugees
(UNHCR)'s delegation a number of topics related to the Somali refugees existing in
Yemen.
The meeting dealt with the refugees' living conditions and means of improving them.
The governor directed to delivering a piece of land to the UNHCR for expanding the
area of the refugees' camp and setting up their constructions as well as providing
the
health ,educational and security services in the camp.
For her part, UNHCR's Representative Laila Naseef valued the Yemeni government's
positive interactionand and the measures taken by Lahj governorate in regards to
the security
aspect and providing a piece of land to facilitate the UNHCR's missions.
