Yemeni, Egyptian higher education cooperation reviewed

CAIRO, Aug. 10 (Saba)- Deputy
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Abdul-Karim al-Rodhi met on
Monday
in Cairo with Egyptian Higher Education Minister Dr.Hani Hilal.
During the meeting, the two officials held talks on scientific and cultural
cooperation ties between Yemen, Egypt and means of boosting and improving them, in
addition to
mechanisms of activating cultural and scientific cooperation agreement as well as
strengthening connection among Yemeni and Egyptian universities.
The meeting focused on suitable solutions for obstacles facing Yemeni students who
study in the Egyptian universities.
Egyptian Higher Education Minister has confirmed his country's concern to boost and
improve cooperation ties with Yemeni higher education institutions.
On his part, al-Rodhi hailed Egypt's support for Yemen in the higher education
field and qualifying a big number of Yemeni students in higher studies, as well as
qualifying
teaching staff.
Al-Rodhi handed over the Egyptian Minister an invitation extended from Yemeni
Higher Education Minister Dr. Saleh Basoura to visit Yemen.
