Report of 6th WT meeting over Yemen's accession to WTO discussed

SANA'A, Aug. 12
(Saba)-The National Committee of Negotiation with World Trade Organization (WTO)
headed by
minister of industry and trade Yahya al-Mutawakel held its meeting on Wednesday to
discuss a report of the 6th working team over Yemen's accession into the WTO which
was
held last month in Geneva of Swiss and outcomes of the meeting.
The committee also looked at addition questions over the trade policy of Yemen and
other issues still in discussion with the WTO member countries.
Al-Mutawakel affirmed importance of the active participation of relevant government
authorities in a process of the accession, asking to answer on the additional
questions
as soon as possible to send the answer to the secretariat of the international
organization in accordance with agreed timetable.
