Saleh meets with US Congress delegatiS on

SANA'A, Aug 17 (Saba) - President Ali
Abdullah Saleh met on Monday with the US Congress delegation led by Senator John
McCain, currently
visiting Yemen. Saleh discussed with the delegation aspects of cooperation between
Yemen and the US on all fronts topped by economic and terror fight partnership.
Saleh also
discussed the latest developments at the regional and international levels topped by
Somalia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. McCain reiterated his country's readiness to develop
the partnership with Yemen to bring stability to the region. The meeting also dealt
with US businesses in Yemen, with the delegation affirming the US encourages US
companies
to invest in the country. Saleh praised the US support for development in Yemen.
The US delegation arrived in Yemen on Sunday for a two-day official visit. MB/FR
