Providing aid for Harf Sufyan's displaced people discussed
AMRAN, Aug. 25 (Saba) - Relief and Shelter Committee for displaced people from Harf Sufyan discussed on Tuesday, in Amran province, efforts on providing aid as well as accommodation services to those displaced people.
The displaced people from the province left their homes and villages as a result of the sedition, subversion and insurgency of the al-Houti elements.
The committee, which is headed by Amran deputy governor Saleh Abu Awjaa, reviewed procedures to implement assistance plan according to provided statistics.
The assistance would be distributed for the displaced families from Harf Sufyan according to priority needs.
Abu-Awjaa affirmed the significance of the committee's responsibility, emphasizing the importance of carrying out its humanitarian role to meeting needs of those people.
He also ordered the committee to form a field medical team to provide medical assistance for the displaced people before taking them to hospitals if needed.
