Campaign to collect donations for Sa'ada displaced people launched
SANA'A, Aug. 26 (Saba) - Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Capital Secretariat launched here on Wednesday a campaign to collect donations for Sa'ada displaced people.
Mayor of the Capital Secretariat Abdul-Rahman al-Akwa'a affirmed during the
inauguration that the campaign expresses popular solidarity with those people who
left their
homes to escape from the cruel practices by al-Houthi rebels.
He also called all Yemeni businessmen from all the country's provinces to
contribute to providing all support needed which can be considered as defending
unity and democracy
of Yemen.
The donations of the Chamber members exceeded in its first launch hour YR77.7
million and would be continued in preparing the popular support convoy from Sana'a
citizens
to their displaced brothers.
