COURT ASKED TO DECLARE DSUC BANKRUPT
Jakarta, Aug 27 (ANTARA) - CV Ardi Sejahtera Abadi, creditor of publicly listed timber company PT Daya Sakti unggul Corporation (DSUC), has appealed to the court to declare DSUC bankrupt for its failure to settle its debts worth Rp618.809 million.
Corporate Secretary of DSUC Sardjono told the stock exchange on Thursday that DSUC's debt to the company, which appealed to the court for bankruptcy, accounted for 1.14 percent of DSCU's total debts.
He said that his company had received an invitation to attend the hearing in a commercial court.
The company will file a defense and is now in the process of appointing a defense team for the court session.
Besides, Sardjono said, his company is also holding negotiations outside the court with the plaintiff.***
