SA'ADA, Aug. 29 (Saba) - An
official military source said on Saturday that military and security units in
Yemen's restive
province of Sa'ada damaged on Friday several locations of al-Houthi rebels and
destroyed a number of vehicles carrying weapons.
Many rebels have been killed by government troops when they were moving to security
checkpoints at al-Meqdash area, the source said.
The air forces also attacked several groups of rebels in Azain, al-Emarh and Aselah
areas.
Military forces achieved a successful role to secure several roads where the rebels
used them to hinder supplies to citizens, the source added.
The source also continued that military and security units destroyed arms and
ammunitions at al-Menzalah area and attacked the rebels' location in al-Habebeh.
Many Houthis have been killed in clashes in al-Mogaideh area.
The source affirmed that the greatest damages of al-Houthi rebels took place in
clashes with government troops in Mafraq Dhuwaib.
The troops controlled the Dhuwaib triangle, and many districts in Sa'ada have been
cleared of al-Houthi rebels.
On related context, four people have been kidnapped by Houthis from their farms in
districts of Sa'ada and other Houthis engaged in highway robbery at al-Lail market
