Assistance for displaced people in Saada discussed with UN

SANA'A, Aug. 29 (Saba)-Deputy Prime Minister for defense and security affairs Rashad al-Alimi held a
meeting with
the UNDP resident representative to Yemen Pratibha Mehta over assistance offered to
displaced people in Saada and Harf Suyfian of Amran governorate.
The UNDP official praised efforts of the Yemeni government in helping the UNDP and
other humanitarian organizations to reach the assistance to the displaced people.
Al-Alimi valued the UN aid to Yemen, saying that the government would do everything
to overcome any obstacles facing reach of the humanitarian aid to the displaced
people.
He said that the government forces are chasing terror elements to open roads to
make arrival of humanitarian assistance to the displaced people and citizens of
Saada easy
