PRESIDENT SUMMONS FINANCE, DEFENSE MINISTERS
Jakarta, Aug 31 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono here Monday summoned Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati and Defense Minister Juwono Sudarsono for a meeting with him at his office.
Sri Mulyani and Juwono Sudarsono met the president separately at Wisma Negara at presidential palace complex.
The finance minister arrived at Wisma Negara at 10 on Monday morning, and up to 11 a.m. the meeting between President Yudhoyono and the finance minister was still underway, while the defense minister who was scheduled to meet with the president at 11 a.m. had to wait outside.
The summoning of the two ministers by the president was probably related to two cases surrounding Bank Century and the seizure of Indonesian-made weapons by Philippine customs.
