GS Engineering signs 370 bln won deal with Singapore

SEOUL, Sept. 1 (Yonhap) -- GS Engineering & Construction Co., South Korea's second-largest builder, said Tuesday that it has clinched a 370 billion won (US$297 million) deal to build a segment of a subway in downtown Singapore.
Under the deal with the Singaporean government, GS Engineering will construct a
1.23km subway tunnel and two subway stations by July 2015, the company said in a
regulatory filing.
