Kia Motors posts 4.1 pct gain in August vehicle sales
SEOUL, Sept. 1 (Yonhap) -- Kia Motors Corp., South Korea's second-largest automaker, said Tuesday its vehicle sales rose 4.1 percent last month from a year ago, thanks to rising demand at home and overseas.
Kia, a unit of Hyundai Motor Co., sold 97,080 vehicles in August. Domestic sales
gained 8.1 percent to 25,184 units and exports grew 2.8 percent to 71,896 units,
the company said in a regulatory filing.
