Former Pres. Kim Young-sam hospitalized for fatigue

SEOUL, Sept. 1 (Yonhap) -- Former South Korean President Kim Young-sam has been
hospitalized for fatigue, his secretary said Tuesday.

The 81-year-old Kim, who served as president from 1993-1998, was admitted to
Seoul National University Hospital in downtown Seoul last Saturday after
complaining of fatigue, said his secretary, Kim Ki-soo, explaining the symptoms
may have been caused by his tight schedule, including attendance at the recent
state funeral for the former President Kim Dae-jung.
"Kim has no particular symptom except for fatigue. While in hospital, Kim will
undergo a medical checkup before returning home later this week," said the
secretary.
