Saleh, Qadafi talk, attend Libya`s celebrations

TRIPOLI, Sep. 01 (Saba) =
- Libya's leader Muammar Qadafi visited Saleh at his residence in =
Tripoli on Tuesday and the two leaders
talked about mutual cooperation and issues of mutual interest as well as =
the latest developments at the regional and international levels.
Saleh congratulated his Libyan counterpart on his country's Revolution =
Day, pointing to accomplishments under his leadership.
Qadafi and Saleh then walked together to the square where the =
celebrations are taking place.
Upon departure, Saleh said that he will discuss with Qadafi ways to =
face challenges facing the Arab Nation and to coordinate efforts for a =
united Arab position over what
is happening in Iraq, Sudan and Somalia and the effects of the =
situations there on the future of region.
Saleh landed in Libya earlier today for a visit to attend the =
country's celebrations on the 40th anniversary of Revolution Day.
President Saleh is accompanied by Parliament Speaker Yahya al-Ra'e, =
Foreign Minister Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi, Minister of Expatraites Affairs =
Ahmed Musaed Hussein and Secretary
General of Presidency Abdullah Hussein Al-Bashir.
