SNACC gives Yemeni officials week to deliver financial disclosures

SANA'A, Sept. 01
(Saba) - The Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption (SNACC) has given
398
members of the Parliament and Shoura Council a week to deliver their financial
disclosures .
In a statement to 26 September.net, member of the authority Muhamed al-Matari said
the authority has received just 14 financial disclosures from the two councils .
He added that about 299 members of Parliament and 99 members Shoura Council did not
deliver their financial disclosures .
The total number of financial disclosures received by the authority reached more
than 11,000 from officials covered by the Financial Disclosure Law.
"The authority has asked officials in the ministries of Finance and Foreign Affairs
to follow about 18 charge' d'affaires and Consuls in Yemeni embassies abroad," he
pointed
out .
