Yemen arrests nineteen Ethiopians
TAIZ, Sept. 02 (Saba) - Security bodies in Mocha district of Taiz governorate have captured about 19 Ethiopian immigrants entered
Yemeni territories illegally, Interior Ministry said.
The immigrants, all of them are men, were handed over to the Immigration and
Passports Authority to take the required legal actions, according to the Interior
Ministry.
Security men have managed last August to arrest more than 100 Ethiopians in
different governorates, and sent them to the competent authorities.
A security source said that Yemen hosts over a million Somali refugees, and has no
capability to receive other displaced people from the African Horn, according to
the Interior
Ministry.
The source added that all the Ethiopians would be deported to their homeland.
