Police captures weapon with Somali fishermen off Mahrah coast

MAHRAH, =
Sept. 03 (Saba) - Coastguards Authority have captured weapons with five =
Somali fishermen off al-Ghaidah
coast of Mahrah governorate.
A source at the Interior Ministry said that the five Somali, aged =
between 21 - 35, were arrested while they were in their fishing boat, =
possessing machine guns, RPG shells,
explosives and ammunition. The Somali fishermen were sent to the =
competent prosecution to complete the legal procedures.
On the other hand, security bodies have arrested about 107 African =
immigrants from Nigeria, Chad and Sudan The immigrants were sent to jail =
in Hodeidah governorate, security
sources said, adding that two of them were normally died.
Worth mentioning is that the island has received last month more than =
500 African immigrants most of them are Sudanese.
Investigations revealed that they were attempting to sneak to Saudi =
Arabia.
