Japan ready to support Yemeni coastguard capacities

SANA'A, Sep. 05 (Saba) -
Japanese diplomat affirmed on Saturday the readiness of his country to prop up
Yemeni efforts
in area of enhancing the capacities of coastguards.
During his meeting with Interior Minister Rashad al-Masri, Japanese ambassador to
Yemen Masakazu Toshikage said that the Yemeni efforts to combat piracy are the best
mean
to encounter piracy and secure the marine routes.
Yemeni Minister al-Masri valued the Japanese assistance to Yemen, hailing the
distinctive ties linked Yemen and Japan.
