ARMY FORCES SUSPEND MILITARY OPERATIONS, HOUTHI NOT: OFFICIAL SOURCE SAYS

SANA'A, Sep. 07 (Saba) - At the moment, the armed and security
forces are still committed to the humanitarian relief organizations'
calls to suspend military operations while al-Houthi rebels didn't
act in response to the call, an official source in Saada Local
Council said on Monday.

The suspension of the military operations is for managing to deliver
humanitarian aid and food supplies to the displaced and war-affected
people in the governorate as a result of sedition broke out by the
subversion and insurgency elements.

According to the source, al-Houthi rebellion elements insisted to
continue breaches, violations as well as sabotage actions.

In a statement to Saba, the source declared that the rebels
continued their sabotage actions by cutting off roads as well as
planting explosives and mines the thing which impeded the delivery
of food supplies and humanitarian relief to those displaced people.

It also pointed out that the rebellion elements intended to increase
the suffering of the displaced people and citizens through
continuing their destructive actions.

The source also put responsibility on the rebels for all the
destructive actions' consequences which worsened the citizens
suffering.

The Yemeni government practically suspended its military operations
at 9 pm (18:00 GMT) on Friday.
