YEMEN, USA DISCUSS COUNTERTERRORISM EFFORTS

SANAA, Sep. 07 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi reviewed
on Monday with the US ambassador to Yemen Stephen Seche bilateral
relations between the two friendly countries and means of boosting
them.

During their meeting in Sana'a, al-Qirbi and Seche sides discussed
the latest developments in Somalia and Yemen's counterterrorism
efforts as well as its efforts to provide protection for the
war-affected displaced people in Saada governorate.

The United States Agency for international Development (USAID) has
announced that it would offer food $2.4 million assistances for
displaced people in Saada.
