TELECOMMUNICATION IN SAADA CUT OFF BY REBELS, OFFICIAL

SAADA, Sep. 07 (Saba) – An official source denied on Monday the
reports that Telecommunication Ministry had cut off land
telecommunication in Saada.

According to the source, the rebels destroyed the telecom cable
linking Sana'a and Saada at the Ayan area and looted equipment of
the central in al-Talh area as well as destroying aerials at the
Jabal al-Ahmer.

The army defeated the rebels in these areas and evacuated them from
all destructive elements as it expanded its offensive the rebels few
weeks ago.
