MAGNITUDE 6.8 QUAKE FELT IN CILACAP
Cilacap, Sept 8 (ANTARA) - A magnitude quake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale occurred at 23.12pm on Monday with its epicenter in Wonosari, Yogyakarta, Central Java.
"The epicenter of the quake was at 10.33 south latitude and 110.63 east longitude, 263 kilometers southeast Wonosari at a depth of 35 kilometer," a staffer at the Meteorology Agency in Cilacap, Teguh Wardoyo said here on Tuesday.
The quake had no potential to cause a tsunami.
