Germany supports Yemen unification, security

SANA'A, Sep. 07 (Saba) - German ambassador to Yemen Michael Klor-Berchtold asserted on Monday his country's support to unification,
security and stability of Yemen.

During his meeting with the Minister of Culture Mohammed al-Maflahi, Klor-Berchtold
voiced German government readiness to prop up the handicraft areas and providing
some
equipment necessary for such professions.
The two officials also touched upon the arrangements to continue holding the German
cultural events and weeks in the country in addition to preparations for holding a
German
cultural week in October 15 - 22.
Moreover, the meeting discussed the possibility to expand the cooperation agreement
in archaeological excavation signed between the General Authority for Antiquities
and
Museums and the German Archaeological Institute (DAI).
