STX Heavy wins US$200 mln steel plant order from Saudi Arabia
SEOUL, Sept. 9 (Yonhap) -- STX Heavy Industries Co., a unit of STX Group, said Wednesday that it has won a US$200 million order from Saudi Steel Co. to build a steel plant in Saudi Arabia.
The deal calls on STX Heavy Industries to complete the plant, with a capacity to
produce 1 million tons of billet and 500,000 tons of steel bar a year, by 2011.
