Swine flu cases jump to 51

SANA'A, Sep. 08 (Saba) - Ministry of Public Health and Population announced on Tuesday the infected cases of Swine flu (H1N1) jumped to 51 cases with five more cases.

The new five cases are of four Yemeni citizens and one of an Asian worker.
Spokesman of the Supreme National Committee to Encounter the International Outbreak
Pandemic of Swine Flu Abdul-Hakim al-Kohlani said the four infected cases have
never
been abroad, while the fifth one coming from abroad.
The four cases have been infected due to contact with H1N1-infected cases and the
Asian worker who works in one private sector's company.
The cases are currently under treatment and isolation, and their conditions are
stable.
The total number of N1H1-affected cases in the country coming from abroad rose to
17 and the infected locally cases, as a reason of contact, reached 50 cases.
The first confirmed H1N1-infected case was announced in Yemen on June 2009.
