Associations support al-Houthi rebels stopped

SANA'A, Sept.08 (Saba) - Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has announced stopping 14 non-government associations involved in financing al-Houthi rebels in Yemen's restless province of Saada, almotamar.netreported on Tuesday.

Undersecretary of Social Affairs and Labor Ministry Ali Saleh Abdullah indicated
that the associations receive funds through mediators in a number of civil
organizations
which carry out illegal acts in Yemen.
He made it clear that the ministry remitted the associations' case to the judiciary
authorities.
Abdullah warned the local associations and organizations in Yemen of practicing any
illegal activities, affirming that the ministry would talk strict lawful actions
against
the infracting associations and would refer them to the prosecution.
Meanwhile, Abdullah called on all civil associations and organizations to take
their responsibility and support the state as well as partaking effectually in
developing
the society and establishing security, peace and stability.
