Loan agreement with AFESD approved
SANA'A, Sep. 08 (Saba) - The Cabinet approved on
Tuesday a loan agreement singed between Yemen and the Arab Fund for Economic and
Social
Development worth $ 52 million.
The sum would be directed to finance the third phase
of rural roads. The cabinet also ordered to finalize the agreement. The second phase
of the project cost $ 200 million, $ 45 million out of which was provided by the
United Arab Emirates, $ 40 million from the World Bank, $ 30 million from Kuwait and
the
rest was provided the government. FR
