Chinese companies invited to investment conference in Aden

ADEN, Sep. 09 (Saba) -
Yemeni official extended on Wednesday an invitation for the Chinese companies to
take part
in the investment conference "Aden… Yemen's Gate to World" to be held in the mid of
coming November.
During his meeting with the Chinese ambassador to Yemen, Vice-chairman of the
General Authority for Free Zones, and Head of the Aden Free Zone (AFZ) Abdul-Jalil
al-Shuaibi
reviewed the AFZ's goals and current projects in addition to the investment
opportunities available in the zone.
The meeting also touched upon the facilities and merits offered to the Arab and
foreign investors and the system (one-window system) applied in the zone that
assists in
achieving the investors' procedures smoothly.
In addition, the meeting discussed the possibility of the giant Chinese companies
to setting up several projects in the AFZ, topped by improving infrastructure.
Al-Shuaibi valued the Chinese interest and sincere desire to get acquainted with
the AFZ's experience and economic activities.
The Chinese ambassador voiced his country's desire to establish joint economic
projects.
