Sungwon Corp. wins 1.2 tln won order from Libya

SEOUL, Sept. 14 (Yonhap) -- Sungwon Corp., a South Korean mid-sized builder, said Monday that it has clinched a 1.2 trillion won (US$1 billion) deal to build 5,000 residences in northeastern Libya.

The homes, to be built in Tobruk City, will take 44 months to complete under the
deal with Libyan Investment and Development Co., Sungwon said in a regulatory
filing.
