Coast Guard: Sunken Indian ship went down out of Yemen waters
ADEN, Sep. 14 (Saba) -
An Indian ship has sunk out of the Yemeni territorial waters off Aden, Coast Guard
sources
told the News Yemen.
There were no details about the crew, what kind the ship was and its cargo if
carrying something.
The ship, so-called Sara Hanim), sank on Saturday in the Arabian Sea but the cause
of sinking is still unclear, the sources said.
The Coast Guard was alerted by the Local Government to investigate the accident
after the Local Government got a letter from the Indian Embassy in Yemen informing
them of
the sunken ship.
Owing to that the ship went down out of the Yemeni territorial waters, the matter
was out of our hands, the Coast Guard said.
