15 new swine flu cases discovered
SANA'A, Sep. 16 (Saba) - Ministry of Public
Health and Population announced on Wednesday the discovery of 15 new cases of H1N1
influenza,
known as swine flu.
These cases raised the number of the cases of swine flu in Yemen to 127 cases in
which 21 came from aboard and the other cases occurred while mixing with people
coming from
outside.
Spokesman of the Supreme National Committee to Encounter the International Pandemic
of Swine Flu Abdul-Hakim al-Kohlani said the new cases were currently under
medication
and isolation in their houses.
The first confirmed H1N1-infected case was announced in Yemen on June 16, 2009.
