INDONESIA'S DOMESTIC MOTORCYCLE SALES HIT RECORD HIGH IN AUGUST
Jakarta, Sept 16 (ANTARA) - Domestic motorcycle sales hit a record high of 626,353 units in August, bringing the total sales since early this year to 3,718,050 units.
The figure accounted for around 60 percent of the total sales last year, according to data from the Indonesian Association of Motorcycle Producers (AISI) issued on Wednesday.
Honda led the motorcycle market, selling 1,698,558 units, or 46 percent of the total. Yamaha held a 45.3 percent share of the motorcycle market with 1.683.778 units.
