INVESTMENT HOPES TO GROW FOUR PERCENT IN THIRD QUARTER
Jakarta, Sept 16 (ANTARA) - The Indonesian government hoped investment growth in the third quarter of 2009 would reach 3 to 4 percent, so that the economic recovery from the crisis may become apparent.
"If that can be done, there will be indications of economic recovery and consolidation of national economic activities have already become apparent," Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said at Parliament building in Jakarta Wednesday.
She said that investment growth was one of the contributors of economic growth which needs proper attention in the economic recovery efforts.
She also said that investment already has indication of a recovery, especially with the support of the world economic recovery and positive sentiments in the capital market.
