Language institute having H1N1-infected cases to be closed
SANA'A, Sep. 16 (Saba) -
Ministry of Public Health and Population is currently studying to close one language
institute
in Sana'a after discovering two H1N1-infected cases, a source in the Ministry
reported on Wednesday.
The source mentioned to the state-run 26sep.net that if the Ministry discovered new
infected cases among the students of Exceed Language Center it will close the
center
according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).
The tests done by the Central Laboratory in Sana'a proved that two of several
suspected cases in the center were infected with the virus H1N1, also known as
swine flu.
In this regard, the cabinet has approved in its weekly session last Tuesday the
decision of postponing the school year for one more week after Eid al-Fitr
vacation.
The cabinet also charged the two ministries of public health and population as well
as education to take a number of precaution measures for the new school year.
