CHRIS JOHN EXPECTED TO BE MORE AGGRESSIVE WHEN FACING JUAREZ

Medan, Indonesia, Sept 18 (ANTARA) - Chris John, flyweight (57.1 kg) WBA champion is expected to be in his best form when facing his contender Rocky Juarez of the United States at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, the US, on Saturday (Sept 19).

"Chris John needs to have full confidence during the upcoming fight," former OPBF national champion Lamhot Simamora said here Friday, when asked to comment on the upcoming fight, which would be his 12th fight.

Lamhot hoped that with greater aggressiveness, Chris John may defend his title, and he would also be better known and reckoned with by the countries in the world.

"He has to maintain his position of undefeated champ in 11 fights, because it will also raise the prestige of Indonesia," he said.

Lamhot also said that in the title fight in America, Chris John also receive appreciations from State Minister for Sports Affairs Adhyaksa Dault and some other sports leaders in Indonesia, as well as Indonesians living in Las Vegas.

Previously in the right at Karakuen Hall in Tokyo, in October last year, Chris John managed to defend his title against Hiroyoki Enoki in 12 full rounds.

Chris John even managed to maintain his title as The Dragon for beating Japan's Osamu Satu and Zaiki Takemoto.

In his fight with Zaiki Takemoto in 2007, Chris won with a technical knock out in the eighth round.***
