Malik said Pakistan has asked more information from
India about the Mumbai attacks.
"The results of our probe have come out trememdously
good. With the sketchy information (provided by India) we have
been able to develop the case and we have very good progress,"
he said.
Malik said a total of 101 witnesses have been
testified and 126 items have been seized. "We also have
information about 35 terrorists hideouts and we will be
submitting all of them before the court," he said, adding that
"boats used by terrorists are in our custody."
"We need the statements of forensic experts, and
authentic mobile reports establishing connection of terrorists
with militants. We need more information from India to make
our case solid so that prosecution is carried out in such a
way that the culprits do not get benefit of doubt in court,"
he said.
Saeed Pakistan will give a fair deal to everybody and
that "if there is evidence during investigation, they will
not get out of the clutches of law." PTI
