By Byun Duk-kun
New York, Sept. 20 (Yonhap) -- South Korean President Lee Myung-bak and Chinese President Hu Jintao will hold a summit here this week on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly, South Korea's presidential office Cheong Wa Dae said Sunday.
The Lee-Hu meeting will be held early Wednesday when the South Korean president
is also set to hold a bilateral meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Yukio
Hatoyama, according to Cheong Wa Dae.
"President Lee and President Hu will discuss a wide range of issues, including
the North Korean nuclear issue," Cheong Wa Dae spokeswoman Kim Eun-hye told
reporters. Lee arrived here earlier Sunday to attend the U.N. general assembly
and a summit on climate change. He will be participating in the G-20 economic
summit in Pittsburgh later in the week.
The leaders of South Korea, Japan and China are scheduled to hold a three-way
