SK Networks to merge with Walkerhill

SEOUL, Sept. 21 (Yonhap) -- SK Networks Co., South Korea's biggest trading
company, said Monday that its board of directors has decided to merge with
Walkerhill Inc., a local hotel operator, to secure a future growth engine.
The merged entity will be launched on Dec. 24, SK Networks said in a filing to
the Korea Exchange. It said the deal will be carried out by a share swap between
SK Networks and Walkerhill at a ratio of 1:2.0900970.
"The merger aims to secure new growth engine and boost managerial efficiency," SK
Networks said.
