Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques makes an inspection tour of


Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, September 22, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two
Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud made today an
inspection tour of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology
(KAUST) in Thuwal during which he was reassured on the final
preparations for the official opening ceremony of the university
scheduled for tomorrow. KAUST opening ceremony will be under the
patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and will be
attended by a number of world leaders.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was briefed by the Minister of
Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi on the
progress of work at the university.

Upon arrival at the venue, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was
received by Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Aramco Khalid Al-Faleh
and a number of senior officials.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was accompanied by Prince
Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Faisal
bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Minister of Education; Prince
Khalid bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Member of the Board of Trustees of
KAUST; Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, Adviser to the
King; Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Adviser to the
King; Prince Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Adviser to the King;
Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Saud, Adviser to the
King; Prince Abdulaziz bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz; Prince Faisal bin
Khalid bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin
Abdulaziz; and a number of senior officials.
