Seven global organizations to hold job fairs in S. Korea

SEOUL, Sept. 23 (Yonhap) -- Seven international organizations will hold job fair
events in South Korea this year to provide opportunities to local students and
job-seekers, the finance ministry said Wednesday.

They will have two job fair events in Seoul and Busan on Oct. 30 and Nov. 22,
respectively, in cooperation with the Seoul government, according to the Ministry
of Strategy and Finance.
The organizations are the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Asian
Development Bank, the African Development Bank, the European Bank for
Reconstruction and Development, the Inter-American Development Bank and the
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the ministry said.
The events will be attended by ranking recruiting personnel of those
organizations who will provide information to job seekers. Applications should be
submitted by Oct. 23 through their official Web site (http://ifi.mosf.go.kr).
"The job fairs are designed to help provide more job opportunities to our younger
people and support their advance to such international organizations," the
ministry said in a statement.
