Namkwang E&C signs initial deal for subway construction in Vietnam

SEOUL, Sept. 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's Namkwang Engineering & Construction Co.
said Thursday that a consortium led by the builder has signed a preliminary deal
with the Vietnamese government to build subway stops and a subway rolling stock
base.

Under the deal, Namkwang Engineering plans to construct 10 stations and one
rolling stock base of a 11.3 km-subway to be built in Hanoi, the capital of
Vietnam.
The consortium consists of KorailServiceNet Co., Hyundai-Rotem Co., LS Industrial
System Co. and Donglim Consultant Co.
