Swine flu cases goes up to 32 in J-K
Jammu, Sep 25 (PTI) With one more person testing
positive for H1N1 here Friday, the total number of swine flu
cases in India's northernmost state of Jammu and Kashmir has
mounted to 32, Health Department officials said here.
Of these, 19 have tested positive for the influenza in
Jammu province and 13 others from Kashmir valley, they said.
An army officer's daughter was found positive for H1N1
virus Friday, they said, adding, she has been treated with
Tamiflu in Military hospital here and her condition is stated
to be stable.
Dr R S Charak, who has been appointed as a Nodal officer
for dealing with the influenza, said that the state government
had enough stocks of medicines to treat the deadly disease.
