HUTAMA JAKARTA TO BUILD INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL IN AMBON

Ambon, Sept 25 (ANTARA) - PT. Hutama Jakarta planned to build an international standard Martha Christina Tiahahu hospital in Ambon, the company's president director Wali SR said here Friday.

He said in building the hospital, he is having consultations with families who owned the land in Waitatiri, Baguala subdistrict.

The land covers 25 hectares and if agreement is reached with the owners, the construction work on the hospital could be started immediately.

"The idea to build the hospital came from a proposal from a foundation which we have received. So there is no need to wait until next year, if agreement had been reached with the land owners, the construction of the project could be started," he said.

The hospital would be a strategic hospital becuase it will also serve South Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, and Papua.

He said the company had already built a type-C hospital in Cilacap, Central Java, several years ago and now already operating.***
