President Lee says N. Korea should be left with no other choice but to denuclearize
SEOUL/PITTSBURGH, Sept. 26 (Yonhap) -- South Korean President Lee Myung-bak
called Friday for a unified international stand on North Korea, whom he said is
unlikely to give up its nuclear ambitions unless left with no other choice.
"The North Koreans will not readily give up their nuclear program," Lee said in a
joint interview with foreign wires in Pittsburgh.
The international community should make concerted efforts "so that North Korea
will be in a position whereby they will have no choice but to give up all of
their nuclear weapons," he said.
Lee was in Pittsburgh to attend the G-20 economic summit.
