Saleh, Saudi businessmen discuss establishing joint company
SANA'A, Sep. 27 (Saba) -
President Ali Abdullah Saleh discussed here on Sunday with Saudi businessmen the
possibility
to establish a joint Yemeni-Saudi company to enhance industrial, commercial and
agricultural exchange between the two countries.
During his meeting with Saudi businessmen Mohammed al-Amoudi, Abdullah Buqshan and
Abdullah Ba-Hamdan, President Saleh welcomed the businessmen and their current and
future
projects.
He indicated to the various investment opportunities available in the country as
well as the facilities and merits provided by the Yemeni investment law to all Arab
investors.
The meeting discussed the businessmen's investment projects, which are under
construction in Yemen, in the Aden Free Zone, the two seaports of Proum and
al-Dhabah, tourist,
cement and sugar industry.
The meeting also discussed their contribution in academic, technical and vocational
education and operating a number of technical institutes to train Yemeni cadres to
meet
with the labor market needs and the serve the development goals.
