UK ready to raise development aid to Yemen

NEW YORK, Sep. 27 (Saba) - British
Foreign Minister David Miliband said on Sunday that the United Kingdom is ready to
increase its
development aid to Yemen according to its needs.
During his meeting with Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, Miliband praised the
development process and the economic and political reform in the country.
The United Kingdom will support Yemeni government against any rebellion intends to
deter the development in the country.
Al-Qirbi voiced the Yemen's appreciation to the British support, highlighting the
government's efforts to bring security and stability back to Saada governorate and
to encounter
the radical and extremist thought that threatens security in the whole region.
Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi is in New York to attend the meetings of the
General Assembly of the United Nations.
