S. Korean man found dead in storm-lashed Philippines
SEOUL, Sept. 27 (Yonhap) -- A South Korean man has apparently died from an electric current that leaked amid heavy flooding caused by a tropical storm in the Philippines, an official here said Sunday.
The 25-year-old enrolled in a local dental hospital was found lying at a shopping
mall in Manila Saturday evening and transfered to a hospital but died, the
Foreign Ministry official in Seoul said.
"We believe he died from an electric shock, considering the opinion of the
autopsy expert and the fact Malina was flooded in many places," the official
said.
Storm Kestana has caused the deaths of over 70 in the Philippines, triggering
widespread flooding and landslides, according to news reports.
