Operations control center

Taldykorgan, September 28 2009, Khabar - Operations control center opens in Almaty regional internal affairs department. An Operations Control Center of the regional internal affairs department has been commissioned in Taldykorgan. About 500 million tenge was allocated from the republic’s budget for technical equipment, its installation and training police officers. 432 violations of law have already been detected with the help of 16 outdoor surveillance cameras. 10 more will be installed by the end of the year. According to specialists, determining administrative offences will become more effective and the opportunity of solving crimes without delays will be available now that the operations control center has opened and new technologies are being introduced.

- The center is meant for us to be able to respond promptly to incidents which are taking place in the Taldykorgan city territory. This gives us an opportunity of watching every pedestrian and every vehicle which is circulating the town, every accident, and socio-political event which takes place in the regional center’s territory.
